TUITION: Our dance season is divided into three sessions and our dance year runs from September to June.  There will be a limited number of openings in the beginner class.   Please note, no refunds are given for missed classes.

CLASS PROCEDURES:

  • Parents are not allowed in the classroom while lessons are being taught.
  • Children should wear shorts and a T-shirt to class. No pants are allowed.
  • Water bottles only (no pop, juice, etc) No snacks allowed.
  • Please be prompt when dropping off and picking up your children for class.      We cannot be responsible for children before or after their scheduled class time.

SHOES: Students should wear light tennis shoes or socks the first few months of class. Irish dance "soft shoes" need to be purchased by the first class of Session 2. Please arrive at class with dance shoes already on or arrive 5 minutes before class to put on dance shoes so you do not miss valuable class time. If your child cannot tie his/her shoes, please help them before class begins. It is a good idea to write your child’s name on the inside sole of his/her dance shoes in case they get lost.

Irish dance shoes can be purchased at:  Ballinvilla Products - 773-779-5567 www.irishshoes.com

PERFORMANCES AND COMPETITION: Our school makes many public performances during the year. We also compete at Feiseanna throughout the Midwest. Most beginner students do not perform publicly or compete during their first year. We will notify you when we feel your child is ready to perform or compete which will necessitate buying a costume. In the spring we have a school recital for all dancers and their families.

We look forward to an enjoyable and enriching Irish Dance season. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
